During the last three years, the Iranian Graphic Designer Society (IGDS) has witnessed its members’ remarkable successes, both nationally and internationally. After introducing several exhibitions abroad, co-operating four Iranian graphic designer on to Alliance Internationale Graphique (AGI), holding one international poster biennial and two national biennial of graphic design in Tehran, Iran’s graphic design how has a fruitful record in the cultural field. The works by Iranian designers who are members in IGDS have been published all over the world in the most reputable books and professional magazines. The renown of the Iranian taste in graphic design has little by little throughout the world.
Meanwhile, the role of the new generation of graphic designers has been very influential and it is hoped that the quality of the presented works increases together with the number of achievements. In the past years, Reza Abedini, Tahamtan Aminian, Reza Alavi, Ebrahim Haghighi, Saed Meshki, Morteza Momayez, Alireza Mostafazadeh, Mehdi Saeedi, Firouz Shafei & Parisa Tashakori were among the members of Iranian Graphic Designer Society (IGDS) who trod on the paths of glory. The remarkable presence of Iranian designers in international competitions has attracted the attention of international juries and critics. The board of IGDS wishes good luck, more activities and a more remarkable presence for them all.
