Gobad Shiva (Vice-president)
Born: 1940 Iran, Member of (AGI)
M.S in communication design, Pratt institute. N.Y. 1980
B.A in painting, faculty of fin arts Tehran University 1966
Over several decades, he achieved to modern graphic with a
Persian flavour.
His art works are in museums and collectors, collection
across the world.
He established graphic department for NITV in 1968 and
Soroush publication in 1971.
He is one of the confounder of (IGDS) and its various
activities.
There are four books published nationally & internationally
on his graphic designs.
He has held exhibitions and won prizes in graphic
competitions.

Ali Rashidi
After graduating from California College of Arts and Crafts
in San Francisco, Ali Rashidi started his early career working
as a designer and art director at University of California
Publications. He established his own design office DesignZone in
1986 in Oakland, California.
He moved to Iran in 1990 and co-founded Daarvag International, a
distinguished communication company handling various design and
advertising projects for prestigious local and international
clients.
As an educator, Rashidi has lectured and taught at numerous
universities and colleges. His teaching career includes over a
decade at graduate school of Tehran Art University.
He is the international editor of Neshan, the first Iranian
graphic design magazine, and an advisory member of Iranian
Graphic Designers Society.
He has received many prestigious awards in different categories
such as packaging design, brochure design, stationary design and
poster design. He has served as a member of selecting committee
for the Sixth Iranian Graphic Design Biennial and the Eighth
Tehran International Poster Biennial.
